Creating is so fun! I just made some business cards. I added the font I wanted on Picnik and then uploaded them to Moo. I got this wonderful idea from Meg Duerkson at Whatever.

I love being able to see all my favorite pictures with my "Farmgirl Paints" on it:) Makes me smile inside.
I remember when I first started blogging. I wanted so badly for people to find me. I didn't have a clue how that would happen, but I wasn't deterred. Every day I would blog about my life, and no one but my really close peeps ever read my posts.

I would faithfully jump from one blog to another leaving comments all over blogland in hopes that maybe, just maybe someone would visit me. Now almost a year later I have my own little "following". Those faithful blog friends who daily cheer me on in life. I really have a hard time remembering what I did before.

What I'm trying to say is thank you for joining me on my blogging path. I can't wait to share my art with you soon. It's just been such a fun ride. Oh and let me know which one of the "cards" you like the best...just curious:)
Have a blessed day.
All images taken by me:)

What fun! I think that the one you painted would be a wonderful little representative for your art!!! (I have a wee picture of my shop mural on my business cards)
ReplyDeleteHappy new adventures!

ReplyDeleteI think the second one is my favorite! And yay -- I'll be looking forward to the posts with your artwork. :)
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean Becky ~ I am so glad I found YOU and was so excited when you became a follower of mine. I adore you, your family and your faith. Although I like #2 & #6 the best ~ I agree with the ladies who said to use the picture of your painting for your cards. Your photographs are beautiful but the painting is "You". xo
ReplyDeletei think i like #4 or 5 the best. glad i found your blog...thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteIt is really hard to decide which one is my favorite. They are all super cool. I think I like the 3rd one the best. I love to see your photography. It has been so much fun following you.
ReplyDeleteI just became a follower and have not gotten to know you as yet but I think I like the card with the patchwork farmyard best.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is your artwork too.

ReplyDeleteDon't make me choose! I think I like the last one best, but they all are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Meg's blog...and the cards she just designed are so cheery and fun!
Thanks for this post. I'm the same way - wishing hopefully for readers/followers to find me. But, in God's sweet time - not mine! Your photos are gorgeous, but I, too, love the artwork piece!

My very favorite is the one of the collage that you did, and then after that are the ones directly above and below it. You have captured some beautiful pictures from our Lord on camera!
ReplyDeleteI really do like them all...and Moo lets you use as many photos as you'd like...so why not make them all.
ReplyDeleteLOVE these! My personal fave is the 3rd one w/yellow flowers, but with the font of the 2nd one!
ReplyDeleteI can relate on the bit about finding readers to read your blog!! I have a new blog and it's been a "turtle's pace" to get followers!! And I think people read it, like friends, and then forget to sign in as "follower" or I have people not familiar w/blogs, not KNOWING how to become "followers"! OH WELL! I'm patient with the process! Plus it gives me time to tweek it more! I just need to stay current writing....which reminds me...i'll do a new post tomorrow!!
Love your blog though truly and not just saying that , to get a follower!! It' s the only one that's also inspirational that I read and so I love it...
thank you .....
have a great week!

Love them all, but if I had to chose, the last one is my favorite. :)
ReplyDeleteOh...how I LOVE all of them...I'd say go with a couple different choices...your artwork is so beautiful...and the pictures are too...What shows you the most?...I'd say your artwork...but I love picture #2 as far as the photographs. I am definitely looking forward to seeing more of your artwork...just beautiful and exciting for you!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting the biz card links. I am starting my own line of this that and the other and was looking for a way to have cute tags and biz cards. BTW, that one of the amazing sunset and farmhouse. Is that heaven or what? Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the last pic. Beautiful. I am so glad to be a "follower". :)
ReplyDeleteI can remember the first comment I recieved from YOU, over my pecan pie post!! I was so "shocked", more like pleasantly surprised, thinking "who was this Becky -Farmgirl Paints- commenting on my blog"? I was new, very new, at blogging at that time. But, that was so encouraging and so exciting to have someone outside of my little world leaving a comment.
ReplyDeletethanks!
So, I know the feeling...and Im starting to slowly get a following as well. Makes me "nervous" realizing that there are faces to the comments or readers and that they really want to hear what you/we have to say. Accountabitlity.
BTW, your business card ideas are great. I love the one of your artwork. That's a no brainer. AND, the fonts are all so fun. The one with the yellow flowers at water's edge is my next fav. Love that font!
LOVE them all...but my absolute favorite...the one with your BEAUTIFUL painting!!
ReplyDeleteMany Blessings!
Jill

I think your original art piece one, too. Thanks for the encouragement for the novice blogger. I always appreciate the comments people leave. It is absolutely a new friendship that is building. Nancy
ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure following your blog! All your cards are beautiful, but I think I'm partial to the "vertical" one of the house & barn & pond:)
ReplyDeleteI love the one with your artwork, very very muchly! So excited for you, too. :)
ReplyDeleteThe cards look wonderful. I'm so happy I found your blog. :) Thanks for not giving up.
ReplyDeleteI think the last one, or your pink (inspiring - you are enough) sunset represents YOU the best to me.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pleasure following your blog! All your cards are beautiful, Work from home India
ReplyDeleteThey all look great! I really like the next-to last one, though, with the house painting on it.
ReplyDeleteThe blogging community really is amazing, isn't it? I've started thinking of my life in terms of BB and AB (Before Blogging and After Blogging) because it has become such a big part of my life. I'm glad you joined us in it! :-)
Hi Becky! Congratulations on your new business cards! They are all so "you" but my favorite one by far was the second to last one. Did you paint that house? If so, this one is a must! ;) Have a blessed day enjoying a Savior who not only gifted you with talent, but also loves you!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about "what did I do before?" Though lately, I've been so bad about commenting and reading... it's like my extra time has gotten sucked away from me or something... I hope this week will be a little more chill. Here's to hoping! At least I am reading a few blogs this am before I jump into the classroom!
Love ya back and so glad to be blogging with YOU!
Sash

ReplyDeleteGood for you Becky! You are certainly on your way towards your dreams! So proud of you for making your business cards. Doesn't it just make you feel energized knowing you are doing one more thing towards your artist heart's goal!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are all so beautiful, but I think I think I like your painting the best for your artist business card, but I like the picture of your farm which seems so appropriate also. And then I also really like the creek and wildflowers with the green words alot. Whatever you choose, or in multiples, will be wonderful. (I will have to show you the business card I made about a month ago with my artwork- I'll email it to you.)
Can't wait to see your artwork and Etsy store!
