A few months ago I tackled a project that I was dreading. My bathroom needed a little redo and I wanted to do it in the least expensive way possible. So with some sandpaper, primer and paint I set out to give my vanity a facelift.
{After}
{After}It was a pain to do, but I really like the end result. You can't see it very well in the photo but the knobs are glass and they really make it look nice. It kind of gave the room more of a spa feel:) I eventually painted the Chick's bathroom vanity too. It looks so much better white. My next easy fix is to frame out the mirrors!
Have a great weekend!

Love it! It looks beachy which is just what I like!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so fresh and modern! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGreat job! And the mirror will look great framed out. That's really what I need to do in my front bathroom - however, we're building a barn and my entryway/hallway is still incomplete from last summer!
ReplyDeleteAll in due time, I suppose
This looks fantastic. You did a great job. I absolutely love the glass knobs you used. It really makes it look like a custom piece.
ReplyDeleteHi, Becky, thanks for stopping by my mirror project. I'm glad you like it & I hope you'll come back often. I love your painted vanity. I painted one dark brown & it made a big difference too.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The color is so pretty...subtle yet makes a big statement. The glass knobs are perfect, too!

ReplyDeleteI just looooove what you did! Your cabinets went from just regular to very fancy, elegant looking!
ReplyDeleteCan you please share HOW you did it? My bathrooms are in major need of a facelift too, but they have that top layer of plastic thingy. Is that what all the sanding you mentioned was for?
Please do tell. Inquiring minds want to know! I would love to tackle our bathroom cabinets like that... huge wonderful improvement!
Thanks!
