Good Morning sweet friends. I'm still in Seattle. Due to the blizzard in Minneapolis my flight has been canceled twice! Wish I could tell you I'm all sunshine and roses about it, instead I'm stressed and homesick and basically a mess. I miss my people and I have a MILLION things to do. So pray for me please!!! I'm hoping to make it in late tomorrow night. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Just wanted to let you know what's going on.
Have a blessed day.

ugh! i know how that is when you have a plan and it gets messed up! my hubby is supposed to be working on a bunch of projects today because he doesn't have to work and instead he's moving 14" on SNOW!! ugh! i know...it'll work out, girl! don't stress :)
ReplyDeleteBest wishes! The week doesn't look so good.I hope it all works out for you. It's hard to be away from your family for so long I'm sure.I always just try to think there must be a reason why I was delayed. My prayers are with you my dear for a safe return home.~Blessings Kim

Oh you poor thing! I'm so sorry. Stress is such a pain. Praying for you to get home safely and quickly!!!
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you Becky. I am meditating on what Sarah Young writes in the book Jesus Lives about WORRY. Just read this in my quiet time this morning....due to some "worry" I am having. Here is a few lines that may help you, too. :)
ReplyDelete" Since the future has such a strong pull on your mind, it's helpful to direct your thoughts to something that appeals to you in the present-an interesting activity, beautiful weather,or a dear friend. At times when nothing about the present day seems appealing, My Presence lovingly awaits your attention.I am always near, so turning your thoughts to Me is an excellent option at all times. Come into my joyous Presence, and I will delight you unmerited love.
ugh! we have the same weather here (south dakota)...hope you get home safely!
ReplyDeletePraying that you get home soon to your cute family!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you haven't been able to get home yet! I will be prayin that the weather clears, however I am glad that you aren't traveling in that mess, and you get to stay warm and cozy with your friend! Wish you could come and sit at my counter and have a big bowl of soup with me...would love to make the time fly for you! Enjoy the extra time with Lissa.

New follower to your blog, but just writing to say that I'm from minneapolis and stuck away from home, too! Ugh. I'm in San Diego so that's nice, but I really, really, really want to get home and I am also dreading the change from a direct flight to a long (and possibly thrice cancelled) flight with my active toddler. Trying to make lemonade out of the lemons, but just wanted you to know that there is someone else out there in the same boat. - Laura
ReplyDeleteOh sweet Becky...I will pray for clean conditions so that you can get home to your sweet family. Hang in there...there's always a purpose. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteIf my husband missed a plan - he might be homesick. But if I were unable to make it home from a trip, the world would grind to a halt (at least my boys) - LOL - so I understand how stressed you feel! Praying for you:)
ReplyDeleteYou KNOW that
ReplyDeleteI'm disappointed...
as will the rest
of the class be,
tomorrow : ( I'll
miss you! Just
try and roll with
the punches....let
your worries float
away. Hope you
are feeling everyone's
prayers, including
mine.
xx Suzanne

ReplyDeleteNothing stinks more than being stuck when you are ready to get home. You will appreciate it all the more when you do finally get there! I will pray for your safe and quick travels!
ReplyDeleteSaying a prayer that you get home safely and soon!(like tomorrow) We have a crazy ice storm going on here in IN) You wouldn't want to be flying in this stuff.

Becky, I am so sorry to hear that you are stuck in Seattle. I am sending positive thoughts your way for a quick return back to you home. :)
ReplyDeleteMary
Sorry to hear you're stranded - travel delays are the worst! You just feel so trapped and helpless because you're totally at the mercy of the weather/airline. Try to make the best of it, and do things you wouldn't get to do at home: go to bed early or sleep in (or both!), read a good book, waste a few hours "window" shopping on the web. You don't have to feel guilty about it because what else are you going to do? I'll be saying a prayer that you get home soon and safely.
ReplyDeleteoh Becky...I am like 2 hours from you right now. I wish I would have seen this earlier I totally would have drove and taken you out for a mocha!
ReplyDelete:( Hoping you get to get out of the airport tomorrow and see you lovely family asap!!! Let me know if you have to stay longer, I might need to make a road trip! :)
Nothing worse than being homesick. I just said a prayer. You'll be home soon.
ReplyDeletePraying for you sweetie...
ReplyDeleteSorry for you stuck girl. You'll be in their arms soon.
ReplyDeletepraying for you becky...
ReplyDeleteHope you are home to your loving family very soon.
ReplyDeleteHave missed your blog posts. xx
I hope you were blessed by your time here in our wee little state and that you leave with a peaceful heart.. Even though it is hard to "feel" ... I KNOW that God has a reason for all things... I have to remind myself of this often...=) Be anxious for nothing, with prayers and thanksgiving... present your requests to God... Perhaps you are intended to unknowingly bless someone or be blessed by someone on the plane He puts you on... hopefully the plane you mentioned!! Hugs and prayers!
ReplyDeleteI'll say a prayer that you get home soon! Susan
ReplyDeletePraying for safe travel. Its hard to be away when your ready to be home, but hope you can take advantage of a little more time to yourself. Sounds like time for a good book! Hang in there!
ReplyDeletesafe and speedy travels! Loving your beautiful blog music on this blah chore day :)
ReplyDeleteI've been praying for you too. Try to be calm my dear friend. This too will pass. I hope you're on your way home by now, or already have arrived to our snow dumped on sate. :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the show, anytime you want to bring tables or anything to set up, M-Saturdays you can do so and prepare a bit at a time. I will be there Saturday morning if you're interested in stopping by or setting some things up. I could help you out. :)

ReplyDeletehope your trip was wonderful!
My fingers are crossed, and saying prayers for you to get home quick and that you will just feel peace and a smile just because.
ReplyDeleteI guess clicking your heels and saying three times "There's no place like Home." Will do any good, because you might not have packed your sparkle red shoes, wink. But you still have your cool hunter boots so you might still give it a go. {I say that all to bring you a little smile.} At any rate sweet girl, I hope you are able to make it home tonight!"
Sending prayers your way for a safe trip home soon.
