I wanted to share a little snippet of what I've been working on for my store. I'm doing a "Brave Girl" series and this is one of my girls. It says "There is no one just like YOU."
I'm incorporating fabric, paper and acrylics all together. I love this textured paper doll look. I've got 6 pieces done and I'm wanting to add 5-6 more before I open my little store:) I am beyond excited about these paintings because they are encouraging and inspirational and I think they really represent me. Can't wait to share the rest of my "girls" with you;)
Have a blessed day.

Becky,
ReplyDeleteThis really caught my eye. You are talented and have a great eye for color. I love it. Very good face on your girl...good cheeks and eyes... and I loved that you used your own hat. The fabric touches are really neat and I love the texture they add. Stamping or stenciling letters for the words would be good too and would balance the scale of the girl with the words out... I think....not having to be block style but thicker??? They are perfectly fine how they are ..I was just having a thought for a moment. I like the green letters on the turquoise. So very cool. I REALLY do like this and think you also are aware how good your work is because it shows. Run with it.
Yay! and Happy Thanksgiving!!
Beth
