We are not exactly your typical Northerners. First of all we are not from here and second of all the idea of being out in the elements does not really appeal to any member of our family. Regardless, today we decided to conquer our laziness and take on the great Minnesota family tradition of
sledding!
The true Minnesotan's were there in full force, flying down the steep hill at unbelievable speeds. I don't know how well we did. There were some tears, bruises and cold wet faces before it was all through, but it did give us a glimpse into this favorite winter pastime.
I think I speak for all of us though when I say the best part of the day was the
hot chocolate we got to enjoy when we got home!!
